Low Voltage Directive & EMC Directive cover most electrical/electronic goods. Both directives often apply simultaneously to the same product.
Covers machinery and safety components. Requires comprehensive risk assessment and technical documentation. Notified Body may be needed.
PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 covers helmets, gloves, safety footwear, harnesses. Category II & III require Notified Body involvement.
Post-Brexit, UK requires UKCA marking separately from CE. Most products need UKCA to enter the UK market after January 2024.
